There were a lot of C's in this Christmas.
C is for the Christ Child. This of course is the most important C of all. We remember the importance of this season ... the fact that Christ came to save the world and keep us from the punishment that we all deserve. Jesus Christ is the reason for the season.
C is for cousins. Mine came from Arizona to spend the holidays with us. We had a wonderful time, laughing, visiting, eating too much and just having a great time together.
C is for cats. We still have two this Christmas and had to keep the two apart for the holiday.
C is for customs and traditions. We celebrated many with my cousins here.
C is for calls from our "adopted" kids, other family and friends greeting us with holiday good wishes.
C is for chocolate. Yummy. We have lots and are still eating it!
C is for cruise which Ken gave me by way of a Christmas gift certificate to go anywhere I want to go.
C is for cancer. Not a "C" word I wanted this year. But, one God decided I could handle. I pray I can deal with it with courage, faith, and strength and be what I need to be and do what I need to, to get through this time ahead.
As we move forward into this new year I wish you times of caring, comfort and the love of family and good friends. May you feel God's love and peace as you do His will and live the life He has destined for you.
Deuteronomy 31:6 (New International Version):
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid ... for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
