The Beginning of the End
Many of you know we rescued a kitten from our walking trail some time back. Well last night we decided to try and keep the kitten overnight and see how it would go! Bad idea! First we were up till way past midnight, then we were awakened around 3 a.m. Now I just broke up a cat fight! Needless to say, we won't be able to integrate the new kitten into our home. I think that Perky (our cat) would have accepted the new kitten Gus, named after the Hurricane I was at when Ken first found her, but Gus is aggressive and runs at Perky hissing and spitting. Not nice! So now whenever they come near one another there is a hissing and spitting and growling competition.
Anyone interested in a cute kitten? Free to a good home. She's house broken and has had her shots!

Sarah Palin Rally in Springfield, MO
Yesterday we fought the mobs, braved the cold and the wind to attend the Rally which was held at the Bass Pro Shop here in Springfield for Sarah Palin. Sarah's guests included Naomi Judd and Pierce Arrow. Also Congressman Roy Blunt, who we had attended a reception for Thursday night, spoke.
I have included some of the photos Ken took here:
